Pamija na FOMI, tutunze mazingira

Kampuni inayotengeneza mbolea asilia ambayo imechanganyika nayakikemikalo  inchini Burundi FOMI liliitikia mualiko lililopewa na wahusika wa utawala wakishilikiana na wahusika wa kilimo,ufugaji na mazingira mkoani Gitega kwenye zoezi la kupanda miti ambayo ni rafiki kwa mashamba Alhamisi tarehe tisa janwari mwaka 2025 ,na shughuli hizo zimefanyika kwenye mulima wa GASIRWA kata ya GWINGIRI tarafani Bugendana  mkoa wa Gitega

Huo mlima unaitwa GASIRWA,sehemu kubwa pake ni wazi,hapajapandwa miti ;ndipo wawakilishi wa Kampuni ya FOMI wakiambatana na Utawala,wahusika wa kilimo ,ufugaji na mazingira nawengineo wengi wakazi wa Gitega wamekutana na raia kwenye zoezi la kupanda mti kwenye mlima huyo wakilenga kutunza mazingira.baada ya shughuli hio,waliokuepo wameshiriki mjadara maana zoezi la namna hiyo ni vyema lifuatwe na ufuatiliaji wa karibu ili miti hiyo iweze kukua vizuri,ichangie kwa kutunza mazingira bila kusahau kuachangia kwa utunzaji ardhi.Kwenye hotuba yake,mkuu wa ofisi inayohusika na mazingira ;kilimo na mifugo Mkoani Gitega Uwikunda Oscar aliishukru Kampuni ya FOMI kwa mchango wake kwenye swala zima la kutunza mazingira ikipititia kwenye mradi wa kuzalisa bustani za miche  na kupanda miti pale ambapo panaonekana kama jangwa

Na Nindemera  Maria,mushauri wa gavana wa mkoa wa GITEGA ambae ana husika na uchumi na utawala, na ambae alikua amemuakilisha mkuu wa mkoa kwenye shughuli la kupanda miti kwenye mlima wa GASIRWA alilishukuru KAMPUNI ya FOMI kwenye shughuli hio ya heshima kando ya kutengeneza mbolea ambao inasaidia uzalishaji kua mkubwa na ardhi kurudisha rutuba yake ,kulinda afya ya watu na viumbe hai.Na kwa maana hiyo anaiomba FOMI kuendelea na shughuli za namna hiyo hata kwenye tarafa zingine mkoani Gitega.

Mkurugenzi wa kilimo kwenye Kampuni FOMI Kanyegeri Cassien alishukuru kwa niaba ya Mukurugenzi mkuu wa FOMI namna FOMI ilivyoalikwa kuja kuungana na wengine kwenye shughuli hiyo na namna Kampuni hiyo inavyoshilikiana vizuri na utawala hata na wahusika wa kilimo,ufugaji na mazingira mkoani Gitega ambaye ndie aliewakilisha ,aliwashukuru wote .Baada ya kuambia kile ambacho FOMI wamesha kitekeleza ili wachangie kwenye mradi wa kutunza mazingira,alitoa wito wake kwa raia wa kuitunza miti hiyo

Raia wanashukuru mfano mzuri wa FOMI kwenye swala la kutunza mazingira. Kwa maoni yao,miradi hiyo ni vyema ikasapotiwe ili na semu zingine ziweze kunufaika kama inavyothibitishwa na mwalimu wa kilimo

Hapa tuko ITRASAGRI kwa maana ya ITRACOM SEEDS AND AGRICULTURE ni center moja katika center za ITRACOM HOLDING ,hapa tuko Muruta sehemu tuko tunazalisha mbegu zisizozakawaida za awali kwenye zao la viazi,mbegu tunazozipata toka tasisi ya ISABU ili kama munavyofahamu tuweze kupata mbegu za kutosha ili tuendane na kaulimbiu ya Muheshimiwa Rais iwa inchi yetu nzuri Meja Jenerali Evariste Ndayishimiye kila mdomo upate chakula na mfuko wa kila raia upate pesa : Raia waliitikia kaulimbiu hiyo . The ITRASAGRI Company uses FOMI fertilizers in seed multiplication

Here, it is in BURUNDI, the heart of Africa, in Kayanza province, where a company Itracom Seeds and Agriculture ITRASAGRI in acronym is carrying out its agronomic research. For agriculture to contribute to the achievement of this vision, it must be a modern one։ the preparation of a growing land, a good application of fertilizer of quality, selected seeds as well as the divine blessing.
Here, we are in Muruta commune of Kayanza province, where agronomic research is carried out on the production and multiplication of selected potato seeds .
The General Director of ITRASAGRI Deo Guide Rurema Ph D, with his collaborators, these of the FOMI Company and journalists made a visit to the ground to see the progress after five months of the birth of the company. He tells us the merits of the birth of the society and its missions.

Seed propagation is not an easy thing. It requires regular monitoring, step by step, of the development of its seeds. For example, with potatoes, the work begins in GREEN HOUSES, continues in the seed fields, until distributing to farmers.

The ITRASAGRI company is also carrying out its seed multiplication research in the Gahombo Commune of KAYANZA Province on the cultivation of corn and potatoes. ITRASAGRI Utilise les engrais FOMI

C’est au Burundi, au cœur de l’Afrique, en province Kayanza, où une société Itracom seed and Agriculture ITRASAGRI en sigle est en train de faire des recherches agronomiques. C’est une société pour la promotion du secteur de multiplication des semences sélectionnées et production agricole au Burundi et dans les pays où la société fertilisants organo minéraux industries FOMI a installé ses usines de fabrication des engrais organo-minéraux.

Pour lutter contre la malnutrition, la famine et la pauvreté, pour arriver à la vision d’un pays émergent en 2040 et un pays développé en 2060, l’agriculture vient en premier lieu pour être le pilier de cette vision.

Afin que l’agriculture contribue à l’aboutissement de cette vision, elle doit être une agriculture moderne : l’aménagement du terrain cultivable, une bonne application des Fertilisants de qualité, des semences sélectionnées ainsi que la bénédiction de Dieu.

Nous sommes en commune Muruta de la province Kayanza où se font les recherches agronomiques de production et multiplication des semences sélectionnées des pommes de terre.

Le Directeur Général de l’ITRASAGRI Dr Déo Guide RUREMA, en compagnie de de ses collaborateurs, ceux de la société FOMI et les journalistes a effectué une descente sur terrain pour constater l’état d’avancement, après les cinq mois seulement de la naissance de la société ITRASAGRI.

Il nous dit d’abord le bienfondé de la naissance de la société et ses missions.

La multiplication des semences sélectionnées n’est pas une chose facile. C’est tout un processus. un suivi régulier dès la production, par exemple chez les pommes de terre, le travail commence dans les maisons appropriées appelées SERRES, continue dans les champs de semences, jusqu’à la distribution aux agriculteurs.

Les semences de pommes de terre produits et multipliées là-bas dans les SERRES sont plantées ici dans ces champs que vous voyez.

La société ITRASAGRI est en train de faire aussi ses recherches de multiplication des semences dans la commune Gahombo de la province Kayanza sur les cultures de pommes de terre et de maïs. Ce sont de baux champs, bien aménagés, bien entretenus, sur des sols à pentes on dirait que l’agriculture n’est pas possible, mais le Directeur Général de l’ITRASAGRI nous parle des techniques qu’on a utilisé pour avoir de tels baux champs.

L’utilisation des fertilisants organo-minéraux de la société FOMI est un bon choix, que ça soit sur les plantes ou sur la santé. A l’ITRASAGRI on l’a essayé et on a réussi. Dr Déo Guide RUREMA le témoigne.

Dans ses recherches, l’ITRASAGRI n’a pas oublié d’associer l’agriculture à l’élevage et l’environnement. Dans ces champs, on y trouve des arbres agro-forestiers d’une part et l’élevage de l’autre part.

Cinq mois seulement après sa naissance, l’ITRASAGRI a embauché plus de 300 employés et vient pour contribuer à l’économie du pays à travers le payement des taxes.

As he continued to say, fertilizers are the key to life all over the world because reports show that the whole world uses more than 200,000,000 tons of fertilizers per year, and Burundi is not an island to be exempted from this need for fertilizer use.

“In the past five years alone, since the birth of the FOMI Company, agricultural production has increased by more than 45% thanks to FOMI fertilizers”, he added.

“FOMI’s fertilizers are made from organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizers, with the aim of respecting the environment. The company continues to work to satisfy all farmers, and it is in the process of expanding its technology to other countries in the region such as Tanzania”, he said.

“However, while there is no shortage of challenges, the company works well with the government to find solutions”,he added.

The General Director of the FOMI Company also told him about the life of the company’s employees at the service. As he said, the company employs more than 3000 employees who are well paid, insured, fed and moved in the company buses to places of service, and the majority of them have employment contracts.

EWAN WHEELER, on behalf of ACRE AFRICA said that he appreciated positively the way he was welcomed and the step taken by the company in the manufacture of organo-mineral fertilizers. He said that the insurance company ACRE AFRICA that he represents is currently working in quite a few African countries such as Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and Nigeria.

He said that in agreement with governments, the Society works with farmers’ associations and seed multipliers who wish to do so, to insure them at the time of disasters due to climate change.

Participation de la Société FOMI à la Table Ronde, édition 2024 pour la mobilisation des financements pour la mise en œuvre de la vision: “BURUNDI, PAYS EMERGENT EN 2040 ET PAYS DEVELOPPE EN 2060″

CONTEXTE ET JUSTIFICATION DE LA TABLE RONDE

En novembre 2021, le Gouvernement du Burundi a organisé un Forum National sur le Développement qui rassemblait, entre autres, les représentants de l’administration publique, du secteur privé, des universités, des partenaires bilatéraux et multilatéraux locaux, la diaspora et les organisations de la société civile. Dans la foulée, une mini-table ronde avec ces mêmes partenaires auxquels se sont ajoutés les Organisations non gouvernementales étrangères œuvrant au Burundi a été organisée en décembre de la même année. S’inspirant des conclusions issues de ces deux événements, le Gouvernement a conçu et adopté le document de la Vision “Burundi, pays émergent en 2040 et pays développé en 2060”. Celle-ci a pour finalité de faire du Burundi une nation prospère grâce à une augmentation soutenue de la production des biens et services, et des changements structurels conduisant à l’amélioration de l’espérance de vie, à la satisfaction des besoins fondamentaux, ainsi qu’à la réduction des inégalités, du chômage et de la pauvreté dans toutes ses dimensions.La Vision Burundi pays émergent en 2040 et développé en 2060 ayant été adoptée, le Gouvernement a ensuite entamé la révision du Plan National de Développement 2018-2027 pour l’aligner aux orientations de la Vision afin d’en faire une véritable Stratégie Nationale de Transformation afin qu’il serve comme la première phase programmatique de mise en œuvre de la Vision à travers son Programme d’Actions Prioritaires 2023-2027 (PAP).Le montant global du PND révisé est de 85 704,8 milliards de BIF (soit 29,9 milliards USD) qui sera financé par le Gouvernement du Burundi, les Partenaires au Développement et le secteur privé. Pour combler le déficit de financement et réunir les conditions pour la réalisation de sa vision, le Burundi compte organiser du 5 au 6 décembre 2024, une table ronde de mobilisation des ressources

Ces activités se déroulent en dates du 05-06 décembre 2024 dans les enceintes de l’Assemblée Nationale du Burundi, dans la salle AGATEKA Hall et ont été ouvertes par son Excellence le Président de la République du Burundi Général Major Evariste NDAYISHIMIYE

Objectif global de la table Ronde:

L’objectif général de la table ronde est de partager la Vision du Gouvernement en matière de développement socio-économique du Burundi ainsi que les réformes envisagées et en cours, afin de mobiliser toutes les parties prenantes et les ressources financières nécessaires à la mise en œuvre de cette Vision.

Objectif spécifiques de la table ronde

Plus spécifiquement, l’organisation de la Table Ronde vise à :

1) Partager les grandes orientations de la Vision Burundi Pays émergent en 2040 et Pays développé en 2060 ;

2) Présenter le PND (2018-2027)Révisé, son Plan d’Actions Prioritaires, ainsi que les ressources financières nécessaires à sa mise en œuvre

3) Communiquer aux partenaires les reformes importantes en cours et à venir visant à renforcer la croissance économique, la gestion des finances publiques et le développement du capital humain.

4) Favoriser la manifestation d’engagements, notamment par l’annonce et la confirmation désinventions de financement par les différents partenaires.

5) Renforcer les partenariats entre le Gouvernement, les Partenaires au développement, le secteur privé et la société civile;

La Société FOMI a été représenté par le Directeur de la Recherche et Innovation Dr Siridi BIZIMANA(PhD)

Dans le débat des investisseur privé dont fait partie la Société FOMI, animé par Mme Marie Chantal NIJIMBERE, Ministre du Commerce, du Transport de l’Industrie et du Tourisme, celle-ci leur a rappelé que tous les investisseurs doivent suivre la ligne ou /et les objectifs que le gouvernement du Burundi s’est fixé pour bien avancer vers le Burundi émergent. Le directeur de la Recherche à la Société FOMI Dr Siridie BIZIMANA

a présenté en résumé des projets qui sont déjà en cours au niveau de la FOMI surtout celui de l’extension des usines de production des engrais organo- minéraux ce qui constitue un paramètre de grande contribution pour booster la production agricole au Burundi et par conséquent aboutir à la vision du pays avant même 2040.

Signalons que la deuxième journée a été marquée par différents panels qui ont été clôturés par les engagements des investisseurs privés qui ont présenté leur projet et les budget y relatifs.

Avant de clôturer, le Président de la République SE Evariste NDAYISHIMIYE son Discours dans lequel il a remercié le Dieu Tout puissant qui a facilité cette noble activité “Table Ronde”, table Ronde ou on a échangé sur des sujets en rapport avec la croissance économique visa à arriver à notre pays émergent en 2040 et développé en 2060. il a également présenté ses remerciements à l’endroit de tout en chacun qui a participé à la table Ronde et a aussi présenté des remercîments exceptionnels au Général Olusegun Obasanjo Ex Président du Nigeria qui a rehaussé de sa présence cette activité.

Il a rappelé que la mobilisation des fonds pour bien aboutir à l’objectif fixé n’est pas question de chiffre mais question d’un bon engagement et un bon cœur des investisseurs public privés. Il a exhorté les participants d’avancer vers la mise en œuvre des engagements pris et il a souhaité un bon retour à tout en chacun. Il a signalé qu’avec cet engagement renouvelé, le Burundi confirme sa position comme un acteur clé de la coopération régionale et mondiale, tout en restant fidèle à son objectif de faire de l’Agenda 2040-2060 une réalité tangible pour le bien-être de ses citoyens.

FOMI company continues to pay taxes legally and regularly

The ceremonies to celebrate the 9th edition of taxpayer’s Day took place in Bujumbura mayorship at Cercle Hippique, and were honored by the Minister of Finance Audace NIYONZIMA, who represented the President of the Republic in these ceremonies.

In his welcome remarks, the Mayor of the City of Bujumbura Jimmy HATUNGIMANA

said that the town hall of Bujumbura houses the majority of taxpayers. He thanked the Burundian Revenues Office (Office Burundaise des Recettes OBR )of the way in which it sensitizes the population to contribute to the development of the country,trough payment of revenues.

In these ceremonies, were present the different companies, associations, and cooperatives which are the major taxpayers like the company: Fertilisant Organo Mineral Industry FOMI, the different banks like the Banque Communautaire Agricole au Burundi BCAB.

Trough the technology of telecommunications, they were able to show the share of these associations in tax payment.

The FOMI company continues to pay taxes on time. Here, he gives an example where FOMI paid more than 8billion in the year 2023-2024.

So that FOMI can have sufficient foreign currency to be able to work easily, FOMI is building a factory in Bukemba in Rutana province, a factory which will produce fertilizers for export. In his speech, the General Commissioner of the Burundian Revenues Office OBR Jean Claude MANIRAKIZA

said that, such a day is cerebrated with the aim of congratulating taxpayers for their role played in the development of the country.

He thus gave the statistics for this year 2023-2024 ti mean that words 101% were payed, without forgetting the challenges that taxpayers encountered in their daily activities.

In his speech on the occasion, the Minister of Finance Audace NIYONZIMA who represented the Head of the State said that paying taxes is a noble mission of every citizen, because it allows the country to develop.

He thus congratulated taxpayers who pay taxes legally and regularly.

Note that this day was celebrated under the theme “let’s pay taxes to achieve an emerging country” .

Visit of the Polish delegation to the ITRACOM HOLDING ecosystem

The ITRACOM Holding Company received this Thursday, 21th, 2024 a delegation of visitors from Poland. These visitors are managers of two companies of Polish entrepreneurs one is called. I for life, and the chamber of commerce of central Europe. These visitors have started their visits to the headquarters of ITRACOM Holding, a mother company of other subsidiaries including, INKINZO, BCAB, ITRACOM, ITRAPACK and FOMI.

General Manager of ITRACOM HOLDING, Police Major General KABURA Laurent received them and introduced in the summary of the Society. He said that, the society has the function of monitoring of the activities of its subsidiaries and the innovations of new projects.

The head of the polish delegation Pavel Tyla said that the associations they represent generally invest in the agro livestock sector and trade. He further said that these associations that they represent were born after the years of crisis that the country has crossed and the destruction of the berlin Wall, a period in which Poland was a very poor country around thirty years have just passed.

As he continues to say, they therefore grouped together in Agro Pastoral and commercial associations, which allowed Poland to become an Agricultural Power. Pavel Tyla says that they came to Burundi to create a partnership with ITRACOM HOLDING in the Agricultural livestock and commercial fields, especially since they have very advanced technologies in these areas. He also says that their companies can grant credits at very high interest rates low, with the aim of developing African trade.

 After visiting to ITRACOM HOLDING, these visitors continued their visit to its subsidiaries starting with the social security institute “INKINZO Insurance” and its departments.

There, the General Director of this insurance Philemon ITANGIGOMBA said that this insurance although it is child recently born, they enjoy their satisfactory customer achievements. The visitors positively appreciate the step taken by this insurance, and promised to connect them with others insurances companies in Poland, with the aim of developing the insurance sector.

Then they headed towards the community and agricultural bank of Burundi BCAB. The managing Director of BCAB Pasteur RUKUNDO who welcomed them showed them the different products and services that the bank offers to its customers composed largely of agricultural credits.

For four years of experience, the general Director of BCAB said that the currently the bank comes in the 6^th position among the banks operating in Burundi in customers satisfaction.

The head of the Polish delegation Pavel Tyla greets the managers of this bank and says they will advocate in the Central European chamber of commerce so that there is collaboration between the BCAB and the chamber of commerce, with the aim of granting credits to the bank of low interest rates so that BCAB continues to satisfy its customers.

The visitors continued at ITRACOM in these welcoming remarks to the visitors, the deputy General Director of ITRACOM NIKUZE Thierry Willy, said that previously, the boss of ITRACOM used ITRACOM as Transport Company of fertilizers that he imported abroad like commercial products. However, today the company has become a transport company for many other goods including organic-mineral fertilizers now manufactured by the FOMI Company of this large entrepreneur.

NIKUZE Thierry Willy says that the ITRACOM Company has a very modern garage and occupy a good place in paying taxes in Burundi.

The head of the delegation highly appreciated the work of ITRACOM, and said that since agriculture goes hand in hand with transportation, they are ready to create a partnership between ITRACOM and Polish Companies with the aim of exchange of advanced technologies in agriculture and transport.

After ITRACOM, they visited ITRAPAC, a company with manufactures biodegradable packaging.

The General Director of ITRAPAC Deo Bede MPFUBUSA, after taking a tour of the factory, to see how this packaging is making, says the company has a vision of being an excellent company that manufactures of the delegation said that they are really amazed by the technology used in the manufactures of these packaging. He also invited them to visit Poland to strengthen their companies in the manufacturing of biodegradable.

This Thursday’s visit ended at the FOMI factory.

The Director of this company had prepared well to welcome this delegation of Polish entrepreneurs.

The General Director of the FOMI Company Simon NTIRAMPEBA first presented two documentaries, one that shows in summary the FOMI Company and the other, which presents a summary of various major visitors who have ahead visited FOMI, since its creator in 2019. After wards, the General Director took them to the factory to show them how organic-mineral fertilizers made. After this visit, the head of delegation of these visitors said in a few words how they appreciated the visit to ITRACOM HOLDING and what they plan to do regarding the partnership between FOMI and the Polish Companies, I FOR LIFE and the Chamber of Commerce, as well as the appreciation of Burundi in General. Especially since, it is the first time that they visit Burundi.

The Burundi is a good country most visited and the visitors from abroad appreciate the beauty of Burundi, its culture, its artisanal, technical and scientific works including the manufacturing of organo-mineral fertilizers made by FOMI Company, The fertilizers made by the FOMI Company. The fertilizers that increased the agricultural production in Burundi and allow the restoration of the soil after its use.
