Here in Matongo commune, Kayanza province, natives of this commune working in the city of Bujumbura and in other provinces, representatives of the association of landowners who live or work abroad, and envoys from the company manufacturing Organo Mineral fertilizers FOMI, visited this commune to assess the progress of their project to bring together farmers, from large farmers to small farmers (the indigenous people).

This project was carried out in the hills of Matongo, Mpemba, and Butuhurana.
