It was a great honor to the Fertilisants organo minéraux industries FOMI this wednesday, décember,4th 2024 where it received thé farmer président of Nigeria Olusegun Obassanjo who had Come to visite the company.
On his arrival,hé was warmly welcomed by the Général Director of the FOMI company and the Général Directors of others sociétés of ITRACOM HOLDING Group which are ITRACOM, INKINZO,BCAB and ITRAPACk, ITRASAGRI ….
The General Directory then présented a documentairy which talks about the FOMI company and its works.As the documentary says,The FOMI company has started its activities in 2019 with thé vision to promote the agricultural sector ,because this one IS the Pilar of the development of Burundi.As thé documentary continues to Say it,the FOMI company till now manufactures three kinds of fertilizers:FOMI imbura which IS the basal fertilizers which IS applied to almost alla the plants because it gives them the essential minéral salt of first necessity,FOMI Totahaza which is applied to céréals,fruits and vegetable plant and FOMI Bagara which IS applied to tuber plants,as well as the agriculture lime which fight against acidity of the soil.
The FOMI Company work in accordance with national and international standards.
The former président of Nigeria Olusegun Obassanjo in his word,thanked and congatulated a lot thé FOMI responsables for the Idea ofhaving installed a company which makes the best fertilizers in the World,thé fertilizers which allow the development of the country and thé whole continent of Africa in agricultural. sectors.He then promised then that they will give them machines wchich will contribute in the running of the company ,in order to increase thé agricultural production.
